Our name is Sweetie Cup Thai Cafe, and Thai cuisine remains at the heart of what we do. But we want more St. Louis diners to discover another part of our story.
Sweetie Cup is not exclusively about Thai food.
Our menu and culinary influences extend into the broader flavors of Southeast Asia, particularly the cuisines and traditions of Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
That distinction matters because Southeast Asian cuisine is remarkably diverse. Neighboring countries share ingredients, techniques and culinary influences, but each culture also brings its own traditions and character to the table.
Sweetie Cup’s own website describes the restaurant as serving authentic Thai cuisine inspired by Lao culture. One clear example is our Lao Sausage, made with pork, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, onion, black pepper, and garlic.
Our broader menu gives customers a chance to explore different Asian flavors rather than limiting their experience to the most familiar Thai dishes.
